Overnight oats

Banana choc chip flavour

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp porridge oats
  • 1 tbsp natural yoghurt
  • 1 tbsp whole milk
  • 1/2 a ripe banana, mashed
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • 1 tsp chocolate chips (optional)

Method

  • Mix all of the ingredients together well.
  • Spoon into a container.
  • Cover with clingfilm and put in the fridge overnight. (Or at least 4 hours)
  • Serve and enjoy!

Mixed berry flavour

Ingredients

  • 1 tbsp frozen mixed berries
  • 2 tbsp porridge oats
  • 1 small pot of strawberry fromage frais
  • 1 tsp chia seeds

Method

  • Defrost the berries in the microwave for approx. 1 minute until soft.
  • Once cool, mash the berries with a fork and add the rest of the ingredients to the bowl.
  • Mix well.
  • Spoon into a container.
  • Cover with clingfilm and put in the fridge overnight. (Or at least 4 hours)
  • Serve and enjoy!

There are so many different flavours of overnight oats that you can try.  I will post more as we get round to making them!

  2. love overnight oats, i just top mine with frozen berries, blackcurrants & redcurrants
