I will write a proper post about the new kitchen plans when it is complete but for now here are a few pictures of our kitchen so far…
The units from diy-kitchens are very sturdy and of good quality. There’s a long way to go but it’s so exciting to see everything start to take shape! I’m also ridiculously excited about the fact that my dishwasher has been fitted!! I have a dishwasher!!! Eek!
We have been spending a lot of time at my parent’s house this weekend as our house has been taken over by kitchen units and boxes! Harry has had a great time chasing the dog around, enjoying the Autumn leaves and dressing up for Halloween.
He also really enjoyed trick or treating his Auntie Lucy and Uncle Phil and playing with their musical instruments!
We had a lovely day today with my mum. We went for a walk, played with Poppy (Harry’s best friend, my parent’s dog) and took Harry for a ride on the miniature train at Brookside Garden Centre. He sulked until Nanna got on the train too but once we were moving he loved it! He was so curious, pointing out all the things that he wanted me to name for him.
So, after a crazy weekend it’s that time of the week again where I look ahead to next week and plan our meals. I love meal planning as it helps us to eat a healthy, balanced diet on a budget. So here it is, my Halloween themed menu for next week! Recipes will be posted on our recipe page the day after I have cooked them!
